SNA Committee

The SNA encourages a broad range of activities at all levels to align with its objectives, encompassing professional, social, cultural, and recreational spheres. These activities aim to enhance both curricular and co-curricular aspects.

Roles of the SNA Committee

  • To instill and maintain discipline among students.

  • To provide counsel to nursing trainees regarding their academic paths leading to professional qualifications.

  • To cultivate leadership capabilities and impart comprehensive knowledge of various branches and facets within the nursing profession.

  • To broaden students' social networks and general knowledge to facilitate their integration into the professional world upon completion of their training.

  • To promote both professional and recreational activities, including meetings, games, and sports.

  • To dedicate a specific section in The Nursing Journal of India for the benefit of student readership.

  • To encourage student participation in competitions and attendance at national and regional conferences to enhance their competence as future nurses.

  • To delegate responsibilities to all students.

  • To ensure the provision of essential facilities related to student needs, such as hostel accommodations and healthcare services.

  • To foster strong rapport and collaboration within the student body and beyond.
